care & cleaning

Yellow gold, rose gold, white gold, platinum and silver

A very crafty little trick- use denture cleaning tablets! Pop your jewellery pieces into a bath of denture cleaning tablets and warm water, let them soak for 8-10 minutes and then clean out residue with a soft bristled toothbrush. Remove any access build up and dry with a paper towel or jewellery cloth.

Foil backed jewellery

Due to the delicate nature of foil backed jewellery do not let these pieces be submerged in water. It will degrade the foil. It is recommended to clean with a cotton bud or paper towel. The band may be cleaned with a jewellery cloth but avoid the stones when possible.

Enamel

Enamel is similar to a layer of paint and can chip with wear and if it is soaked in water. Please use a slightly damp paper towel to lightly remove any residue- do not rub or push on the enamel as it may weaken its adhesion to the jewellery piece.

Emeralds, opals, moonstone and onyx

These stones are prone to scratching and chipping. Please do not put this pieces into a sonic or heated cleaner. Use warm soapy water and a soft bristled toothbrush to get a good clean. Dry with a paper towel.
